Bi’lin protest

Here are some of the photos from the protest we observed in Bi’lin. It was an enlightening experience as you have heard from some of my colleagues’ blogs. We got tear-gassed, which was unpleasant. Imagine holding a plate full of cayenne pepper outside when a strong gust of wind blows it into you face. It burns your nose and eyes–you gasp–and then it burns your lungs. Fortunately it goes away after 5-10 minutes. However, it also burns a memory that will not fade anytime soon.

I have many many photos from that day, and I will try to post them in a few days–we are spending our days in Jerusalem, which leaves less processing/posting time. I also will try to post a video, but the internet here may not be strong enough to upload it.
Thanks for checking them out,
